Cosa aspettarsi

Questo tour attraversa Lanzarote alla ricerca delle sue principali attrazioni. Si parte dal verde nord, visitando i Jameos de Agua e una piantagione di aloe vera. Poi gusterete un pranzo canario a Haria prima di un pomeriggio da urlo. Un tour delle cantine, il Parco Nazionale di Timanfaya e El Golfo formano un cast stellare. David, una delle nostre guide locali, dice: "È difficile per me scegliere il pezzo migliore, sono tutti così belli". Si va sulla Luna e su Marte, si scoprono le terre del vino "craterizzate" e si visita una grotta uscita direttamente da un film di James Bond".

L'avventura inizia alla piantagione di aloe vera o ai Jameos del Agua. Questi ultimi sono caverne vulcaniche trasformate in un locale notturno dal leggendario architetto di Lanzarote Cesar Manrique negli anni '60. Il palcoscenico è ancora lì, ma il locale è stato trasformato in una discoteca. Il palcoscenico c'è ancora, ma le star di oggi sono i rari granchi bianchi in un lago di acqua salata. Con questa sosta si contribuisce alla comunità e all'economia locale.

Il pomeriggio inizia con una visita alle Bodegas Rubicon, di proprietà della famiglia, nella regione vulcanica di La Geria. Assaggiate i suoi vini, ottenuti da uve coltivate in cavità circolari umide, note come "socos". Poi si prosegue verso l'ultraterreno Parco Nazionale di Timanfaya. Seguite il Percorso Lunare attraverso campi di lava, vulcani e geyser fumanti prima di concludere la giornata alla laguna verde di El Golfo.

Le tour et la découverte de l’île et de son histoire sont top ainsi que le chauffeur et la guide. Par contre vignoble et dégustation nous ont déplu car le seul vin proposé était blanc et peu en ont bu (pas bon), dommage de perdre du temps à cet arrêt. Ensuite le repas du midi, digestion difficile et troubles gastriques fort pénibles ensuite.

This half-day tour is Lanzarote in a nutshell. You'll call in at El Golfo lagoon, journey through Timanfaya National Park and visit the Salinas de Janubio. We'll even throw in a wine tasting session to round off the tour.First up, you'll visit the waters of El Golfo - it's emerald waters have starred in many a Hollywood film over the years. But that's just an appetiser for the main event – the visit to Timanfaya National Park. Your final stop of the tour will be at LagOmar, a stunning spot that seamlessly combines nature and art. This unique place is set in a volcanic quarry and includes features like a cave-bar, restaurant, and a museum. Local legend has it that Hollywood icon Omar Sharif briefly owned it, only to lose it in a game of cards.
