What to expect

Join this jeep tour of Madeira and discover remote villages in the Nun's Valley and the highest sea cliff in Europe.

Not far from Funchal and hidden between high mountains and deep valleys, you'll discover several remote villages. Stop at Estreito Câmara de Lobos village, where the finest Madeira wine in the world is produced. The landscape is unique: terraces covered with vineyards. See Boca da Corrida, an amazing viewpoint situated around 1,200 meters above sea level, which provides a great view of Curral das Freiras and all the highest mountains of Madeira. Discover Jardim da Serra, a small village important in cherry production. In spring, the valley around the village is completely covered with a large variety of wildflowers.

Continue to Cabo Girão, the highest sea cliff in Europe and, at 580m, one of the highest worldwide. There, you can experience sky walking over a balcony made of clear glass. Finally, explore Câmara de Lobos, a picturesque fishing village where they fish the unique black scabbard fish at a depth of 1,000m. This was also the favourite place on the island for Winston Churchill. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Funchal.

    a really good 4 hour trip, up into the mountains first, then into the forest for a few off road trips, which were really good, be aware you will get bounced around, but all part of the fun ! driver was excellent, we enjoyed the experience and would recommend the company, as we were well looked after

Tout en découvrant les produits de la ferme et l'élevage des animaux, vous verrez les champs et les "poios", des terrains où les produits de la terre sont cultivés en terrasses. La ferme abrite divers animaux, dont des poulets, des chèvres, des moutons et autres animaux. Bruno a même créé un petit marché pour aider d'autres vendeurs locaux à atteindre leur communauté, en s'inspirant du slogan "achetez local".
