What to expect

Our ultimate catamaran trip gives you a new perspective on Corfu. The island's rugged coastline is the backdrop of this relaxing day out, which features plenty of swimming stops. What's more, a traditional lunch and drinks round off the experience. Spiros, one of our local guides, says, ‘This cruise for me is Corfu in a nutshell – in the lap of luxury and in the lap of the gods. You get to enjoy vistas of heavenly coastline whilst living it up on board with unlimited drinks and a typical Greek lunch.'

You'll be picked up and brought to the harbour to board your catamaran – and from here on in, you won't have to lift a finger. This cruise is all about soaking up the sun and enjoying the scenery. Steep cliffs, secluded beaches and little fishing villages surrounded by juniper green vegetation – it's quite a view. Spiros adds, ‘This catamaran is the real deal, with a trampoline net for lying on. It's like being on a hammock – but over the water. I love it.'

Along the way you'll get to spot some famous landmarks from the hit-series 'The Durrells', as well as the house of the real Laurence Durrell, back in the 1930s. And, there's at least four anchored stops for you to dive into the Ionian Sea and use the snorkelling equipment provided. Relax on the breezy deck or in the shaded area, before a lunch of Greek specialities and drinks await. Plus, you'll have a crew at hand to cater for every need, as well as give you information on Corfu and the fauna and flora of the Ionian.

Extend orientation on stops to provide more background and history on locations etc. Would have liked a sail (rather than motoring) between stops. Picking up the coach after the cruise was a little chaotic.

This trip was appalling (apart from the Captain and Athena). It was overcrowded, dangerous, the other crew member spent the entire time chain smoking, it was chaotic and on disembarkation an elderly lady fell down the gap between the catamaran and dock, with my husband and others desperately trying to pull her out the water. She’s been taken to hospital. Not worth anywhere near what was paid, genuinely horrified at the lack of attention and safety from a £98 pp trip. We will submit a complaint.

It was amazing, we loved the whole trip a 10.00am pickup by TUI bus then on the catamaran by 10.30, we had 3 swim stops which were fantastic with face masks provided plus lunch and free flowing drinks, crew where lovely and the skipper was very informative back at our hotel by 4.30pm, I would certainly recommend this trip to all. Thank you TUI.

Food was not good. As Vegetarians we were offered salad and potatoes for our lunch. Meat eaters had more than 3 meat dishes and potatoes and salad. This is not good value for money for us and we weee not feared the same amount of food as the meat eaters very disappointing. Cheeses and biscuits, vegetarian pasta would have been easy to prepare and kept seperate for vegetarian persons to be served first!

The catamaran cruise was absolutely amazing, my only complaint was with the bus drivers picking us up afterwards as they didn’t seem to have a clue who they were picking up or which hotel they were going to, I got asked 4 times by one driver my name and which hotel ??????

Nat Geo Day Tour: Flavours of Corfu, Cook with Locals at an Organic Farm

Feel the soul of Corfu at Bioporos Organic Farm, situated on the banks of Korission lagoon. Your deep dive into Corfiot farming begins with an introduction to your hosts for the day and the true stars of the show: the farm's owners.First, you'll join the host's mother who will teach you how to make organic cosmetics, such as face masks, beeswax cream, and more. You'll use ingredients which you can find in your kitchen or garden back home, and take your creations with you at the end of the day.Next, prepare a traditional Corfiot pie, mix up your own tzatziki and knead bread. Your host will light the wood-burning oven and soon you can enjoy the aromas of the slow-cooked pie and bread you helped to prepare. While your lunch bakes, the owner himself will lead you through the farm, proudly showing off his collection of farming tools, his olive trees and bee hives. His tales illuminate the relationship between Corfu and olive farming, and his passion for regenerative agriculture shines through when he demonstrates how he promotes the conservation of endemic plant species. You'll also discover the history of this EU-protected lagoon and its impact on the local people, as well as details of the surrounding wildlife, rare flora and numerous bird species found here. After your trip around the farm, you'll savor lunch fresh from the oven, paired with a fresh salad from the farm's garden. For dessert, relax with a cup of coffee while you gaze over the idyllic scenery.
