Qué te espera

Esta excursión de medio día es Lanzarote en pocas palabras: hará una parada en la laguna de El Golfo, recorrerá el Parque Nacional de Timanfaya y visitará las Salinas de Janubio. Y como colofón, una cata de vinos.

En primer lugar, visitará las aguas de El Golfo, de color esmeralda, que han protagonizado numerosas películas de Hollywood, pero que son sólo el aperitivo del plato fuerte: la visita al Parque Nacional de Timanfaya. Famoso por su paisaje lunar salpicado de campos de lava y rocas negras, verá la "Montaña de Fuego", por nombrar sólo algunas.

Continuaremos el recorrido con una parada en La Geria para degustar un vino local antes de llegar a Salinas de Janubio, las mayores salinas de Canarias. Hazte unos cuantos selfies con los kilómetros de montículos de sal blanca como el algodón mientras tu guía te cuenta la historia de este importante recurso de la isla. Incluso tendrá la oportunidad de probar un poco.

A lot of money for a 4-hour round trip. I would have recommended it if it ws cheaper. The guide was explaining in2 languages therefore she was going too fast to male any sense.

We really enjoyed the tour and the wealth of information the guide supplied. Collection was on time and the stops were of appropriate length for each centre. The guide was fluent and very helpful. The coach was clean.

Loved the tmanfya tour However felt that the salt tour was rushed and the wine tasting was literally a taste of one wine .not at all what was expected ??no wine guide giving information was a disappointment

As your guide Carlos says, “southern Lanzarote's got a vibe all of its own, with lava cliffs, vineyards growing out of craters and sunsets that'll make you stop and stare.”You'll kick things off in the village of Yaiza, known for its traditional white buildings, palm-lined streets and quiet atmosphere. A stroll through the Plaza de los Remedios is the ideal introduction to this laidback, rural part of the island. Next, you'll take a look at the coastal scenery during a walk along Playa Montana Bermeja, where black volcanic sand meets the Atlantic Ocean. Then, swing by Bodega Finca Mota Artesanal in Conil, a charming, family-run winery offering more than just a taste. The winery is steeped in a deep love for tradition, agriculture, and the sea. The owners transformed their home into a living museum full of vintage objects and nostalgic touches that take you back in time. As Carlos puts it, “it's not just about sipping wine – it's about an immersive atmosphere where every detail from the décor to the story feels like stepping into a family archive, and where wine is made by hand with minimal intervention.” Finally, you'll wrap up your tour at Volcan del Cuervo, a volcanic crater in the middle of La Geria – AKA wine country. It's one of Lanzarote's most accessible volcanic sites – you can walk right into the crater – and was born during the massive Timanfaya eruptions that began in 1730. You'll arrive just before sunset, the perfect time to take it all in as the sun sets across the lava fields.

From the sea of prickly green, you'll head to the turquoise of the Atlantic lapping against the black volcanic rock and white sands of Caletón Blanco. Ana, adds, “the contrasting landscapes will have you thinking you've travelled across countries, yet in just 20 minutes, you'll be in the Valley of a Thousand Palms, where arid stretches are replaced with wildflowers and green date palms.” You'll visit the valley's village of Haria, where you can drop into traditional craft shops or opt to visit the Cesar Manrique House Museum – just so you know, this is at your own cost. Then, at the family-run bodega in Ye, you'll get a true taste of Lanzarote. Artisanal cheeses and wines produced from the island's mineral-rich terrain are on your tasting menu as you hear more about how they're made. Your final stop tops off the day – literally. From Mirador de las Nieves, you'll get sweeping views of the jagged volcanic cliffs that make this part of the island so unmissable.
