What to expect

Embark on an adventure from coast to forest in the northwest of Tenerife. This guided tour takes you through traditional villages, verdant landscapes, and coastal views that highlight the island’s diversity.

Setting off from Santiago del Teide, you'll head towards the hillside village of Chinyero. From there, journey through Ruigómez, San Pedro de Daute, and Las Cruces, soaking up the scenic roads and relaxed atmosphere of these Canarian towns. Upon reaching San José de Los Llanos, the terrain becomes greener and more mountainous as you ascend toward El Tanque. This is the ideal opportunity for a scenic stop—you can take in Tenerife’s striking northern coastline, with cliffs and banana plantations.

Continue your journey towards the coast, passing Garachico and the surrounding viewpoints, before heading back inland. Winding mountain roads guide you back into the cool heights of the Corona Forestal, where you'll navigate through routes lined with pine trees before returning to Santiago del Teide.

This tour offers a mix of coastal beauty and mountain exploration—an ideal experience for those wanting to uncover Tenerife’s varied landscapes in an adventurous way.

The tour is on twisty roads with large heights. If you have vertigo we would not suggest this tour.
