Things to do in Commerce Square
Lisbon’s Commerce Square (Praça do Comércio), situated on the site of the former Royal Palace, is the city’s main square today. Looking over the Tagus River from its south side, Commerce Square is the cultural and commercial heart of Lisbon. Closed on three sides by its characteristic yellow painted buildings, there is an abundance of architectural beauty to admire from Commerce Square including the Rua Augusta Arch and the Equestrian Statue of Joseph I. Formerly the docking port for all goods arriving in Lisbon, this was truly the most bustling point of the city. Although no longer an active commercial port, the square maintains its significance today as the “door” to Lisbon. Near all major central attractions of the city, a tour around the Praça do Comércio is a must-do on any trip to Lisbon!

“Thank youMade my travels easy.”
“Brilliant paid for 72hrs 3 days. By end of second day it had paid for itself by using buses and the metro and free admission into 3 attractions. It made everything so much easier to access.”
