What to expect

If you're in search of glittering azure waters and a healthy dose of Greek culture then a boat trip to Antipaxos and Paxos from Corfu is a must-do. These islands might be small in terms of size, but they pack a punch with scenery and laidback Mediterranean feel.

From Corfu, we'll sail over to Antipaxos first, stopping at sea caves along the way. Then, your captain will drop anchor off the coast of Antipaxos, and you'll have time for a leisurely swim or just sit and relax on board.

Peace and quiet reigns over Paxos, even in the livelier town of Gaios, the island's capital. Here, you'll have some free time to choose a taverna for lunch, explore the town and its shops or more sunbathing and swimming – the ideal way to spend a day in the Greek islands.

The boat seemed overfull. We alighted in Corfu in a scrum of pushing and elbowing people. Although only half had boarded, all seats on the upper deck were filled. We had to sit on the enclosed lower deck and were therefore 'forced' to the unpleasant smoke from the Smokers, permitted at the stern. The seating situation was not improved on our return as the seats had all been "reserved" by outward journey users. The crew did nothing to stop this. Paxos and Antiaxos are delightful, the trip wasn't

Warning for those booking on the app. Check the location for pick up. I selected the hotel but TUI change your pick up without clearly stating it. So we booked and paid twice for a trip we did once. Once we were finally on the trip it was good, quite busy but for the price I wouldn’t have expected anything else. Staff on the boat are brilliant. Just TUI that’s a letdown

Full day wasted mostly in the bus and boat. Only 2 h spent in Paxos and 1h for swimming in Antipaxos. I don’t think it’s worth it. Would not repeat the experience again.

A little more time at the swimming stop at Antopaxos would have been lovely and a little more on paxos as the island was busy meaning restaurants were really busy amd slow service left very little time to shop and explore the island But overall it was an amazing experience and I would do it again

Nat Geo Day Tour: Flavours of Corfu, Cook with Locals at an Organic Farm

Feel the soul of Corfu at Bioporos Organic Farm, situated on the banks of Korission lagoon. Your deep dive into Corfiot farming begins with an introduction to your hosts for the day and the true stars of the show: the farm's owners.First, you'll join the host's mother who will teach you how to make organic cosmetics, such as face masks, beeswax cream, and more. You'll use ingredients which you can find in your kitchen or garden back home, and take your creations with you at the end of the day.Next, prepare a traditional Corfiot pie, mix up your own tzatziki and knead bread. Your host will light the wood-burning oven and soon you can enjoy the aromas of the slow-cooked pie and bread you helped to prepare. While your lunch bakes, the owner himself will lead you through the farm, proudly showing off his collection of farming tools, his olive trees and bee hives. His tales illuminate the relationship between Corfu and olive farming, and his passion for regenerative agriculture shines through when he demonstrates how he promotes the conservation of endemic plant species. You'll also discover the history of this EU-protected lagoon and its impact on the local people, as well as details of the surrounding wildlife, rare flora and numerous bird species found here. After your trip around the farm, you'll savor lunch fresh from the oven, paired with a fresh salad from the farm's garden. For dessert, relax with a cup of coffee while you gaze over the idyllic scenery.
