Why you’ll love this…
  • Walking tour of Tarifa
  • Educational talk by a marine biologist
  • Two-hour dolphin-watching cruise
What to expect

The waters of the Straits of Gibraltar off the coast of Tarifa are among the most dolphin-rich in Europe. On this excursion, a marine biologist will teach you about the different species in advance of a two-hour dolphin watching cruise. You'll also enjoy a walking tour of Tarifa and some free time to explore this kite surfers' paradise.

It all kicks off with a walking tour of laidback Tarifa. Kite surfers come from all over the world to ride the waves at the spot where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet.

Then stroll over to the marine mammal research institute, where a marine biologist will reveal the dolphin species living off Tarifa – and how to identify them on your cruise. Spend two hours at sea admiring these friendly creatures in their wild habitat. You might also spot a whale or two. Finish the excursion with a few hours' free time exploring Tarifa at your leisure. The total tour duration will be around six hours.

The information brief used up too much time, there was alot of sitting around before it where the brief could have been done in that time, leaving more time to actually be out on the boat, the tour guide was very friendly and full of information I cannot fault him at all.
