Cette excursion en catamaran vous fait découvrir une autre facette de Corfou. Le beau littoral accidenté de l'île n'attend que vous pour cette journée de détente, avec des arrêts baignade, un déjeuner traditionnel et des boissons pour compléter l'expérience. Vous serez pris en charge et conduit au port pour embarquer sur votre catamaran. À partir de là, vous n'aurez plus à lever le petit doigt. Cette croisière consiste à profiter des rayons du soleil et du paysage. Falaises abruptes, plages isolées et petits villages de pêcheurs entourés d'une végétation de genévriers verts vous attendent ; rien que du bon. Spiros ajoute : "Ce catamaran est une vraie merveille, avec un filet trampoline pour s'allonger. C'est comme être sur un hamac, mais au-dessus de l'eau. J'adore ça".

En chemin, vous apercevrez des lieux célèbres de la série à succès "Les Durrell", ainsi que la maison du vrai Laurence Durrell, dans les années 1930. Au moins quatre arrêts baignade sont prévus, avec équipement de plongée et tuba fourni. Vous pourrez vous détendre sur le pont exposé à la brise ou bien à l'ombre, avant le repas de spécialités grecques accompagné de boissons. Beaucoup trop cher pour une croisière qui débute à 10h30 et se termine à 15h30 déjeuner hyper simple sans fruit ou dessert, pas de café, uniquement du vin blanc et de la bière. pas de tubas ni de palmes... difficile de faire du snorkeling dans ces conditions Pas assez de place pour tout le monde, certains clients sont restés debout... à éviter tout simplement d'autant qu'on retrouve la même excursion à 50€ au village de Roda à 5min à pied du Roda Beach

Aucune plage attrayante, nous nous sommes arrêtés 3 fois pour se baigner dans des endroits sauvages mais pas très attirants, aucun poisson à découvrir, bref une croisière moyenne avec un personnel très aimable toutefois.

Boat trip from Corfu to Sivota with barbecue and Blue Lagoon

A delightful foray to the west coast of mainland Greece from Corfu. Skippered by local legend Captain Theo, you'll cruise over to Sivota, enjoying a barbecue on board along the way. Theo, who's been sailing these waters for four decades, says, ‘I love the sound of guests whooping with joy – the sound of summer – when they jump into the Blue Lagoon for a swim. We then explore Papanikolis sea cave, which is also popular.'You'll board the boat ready for a picture-perfect journey across the Ionian Sea towards the mainland. And between taking in the scenery of pine-clad islets, you'll cruise into Papanikolis sea cave, where you'll see the sea glittering on the roof. The next stop will be for swimming in the Blue Lagoon. Its fluorescent-turquoise waters look radiant – and inviting – when contrasted against the tree-topped white headland that shelters the lagoon. Captain Theo will anchor here for 90 minutes, during which time you can swim or snorkel and feast on an on-board barbecue with free-flowing wine.After all that fun, Theo will rev up his engine to glide over to a scenic little bay for one more swimming stop where you can make the most of the sparkling Ionian Sea. Afterwards, it's time to hop back on board for the return cruise to Corfu.

The palace boasts stirring views of the Corfu coast, and the meticulously landscaped gardens are a work of art. Spiros adds, ‘Empress Sissi of Austria was enamoured with Corfu and its mythological heritage, particularly the story of Achilles, and the palace and gardens are filled with sculptures of Greek gods and goddesses.' The vistas are also top-notch at the seaside village of Paleokastritsa. You'll have free time to visit the Orthodox monastery – admission is free – or the many coves with beautiful beaches. Corfu Blue Caves cruise with swim stops and onboard lunch

With fantastic scenery on the agenda and lunch on board to look forward to, this cruise invites you to relax. We'll set sail for an island adventure on the Ionian Sea, setting out from Imerolia port. First up, we'll head for the rugged island of Kapareli. It's the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot, and you'll have plenty of time to capture great photos from the comfort of the boat.Next, we'll make our way to the beach of Limnopoula, a natural bay with calm, green-blue water. Here, you'll have the opportunity to swim and soak up the sun, and we'll serve lunch on board so you won't have to worry about a thing.After lunch, we'll continue our cruise in the direction of Saint Arsenious bay and its Blue caves, where you can enjoy another refreshing swim. Sites & Bites: Corfu Old Town, Greek doughnuts and ouzo

Corfu's cuisine, bustling town square and old fortress are the highlights of this half-day guided walking tour. You'll start at the Old Fortress of Corfu, a Venetian fortress dating back to the early 15th century, with some eye-catching views over the town. Eleni, one of our expert local guides, says “this fortress gives you a peek into Corfu's rich history. Keep an eye out for its two peaks – Castel a Terra, or Castle near the Land, and Castel a Mare, which means Castle by the Sea in English. They really show off the military defence architecture from the Venetian era.”Next, you'll stroll through the old town's winding alleyways, known as kantounia, towards Greece's largest plaza – Spianada Square. As you wander between the pastel-coloured buildings, you'll make a few stops to sample local treats, like ouzo and kumquat liqueurs. Plus, you'll learn how olive oil is produced before a tasting session. Then, you'll get to sample another Greek treat – loukoumades. These golden, crispy doughnuts are soaked in warm honey and are often sprinkled with cinnamon and nuts – you'll see why this sweet snack is a favourite in the Mediterranean.After your tasting sessions, you'll have some free time to check out the old town at your own pace.
