What to expect

Step inside one of the best aquariums in Spain and enjoy a unique experience that's suited for the whole family. Embark on a wow-worthy journey through exhibits themed around the five continents, all of which are loaded with different species that inhabit the oceans and the seas. You'll have the chance to see various areas with different types of marine life.

Walk through “La Jungla” and admire the majestic goliath groupers, freshwater turtles and crocodiles, or enter the world of Nemo where you'll be surrounded by clown fish. After that, take a look at the beach area where zebra sharks and Port Jackson sharks share the zone with rescued sea turtles, which are offered a secure space for rehabilitation.

The final touch is the Deep Sea zone, which, thanks to the largest curved window in the world, is a place that leaves everyone awe struck. The display is 36 meters wide by seven meters high and about 39 centimeters thick, allowing you to observe sharks while submerging yourself into the deep ocean.

There wasn’t a queue when we arrived so we didn’t need to skip it but I think it was slightly cheaper to book through TUI than to pay on the door. We took the 50 bus from Maspalomas to get there so that we could also visit the Las Palmas old town in the morning. The aquarium was great, lots to see and I really liked the different environment exhibits. My 8 year old loved it.
