Erlebnisse in Elafonisi
The idyllic and uninhabited islet of Elafonisi could hardly be more beautiful. Floating just off southwest Crete – they’re separated by a narrow channel you can wade across – it’s famed for its blissful beaches, among the most picturesque in all Greece. Virgin strands of pink and white sands washed by translucent waters await you. Nirvana for sunbathers and swimmers. While the beaches are its calling card, Elafonisi offers a tiny bit of heritage. There’s the dinky Agia Irini chapel perched on a small hill next to a lighthouse at the western tip of the island.

“Die Strände sind wunderbar, aber bitte bucht die Reise nicht über TUI. Bei den Serpentinen im sehr alten Kleinbus ist vielen schlecht geworden und man erbrach sich. Auch wem Berg oder Erbrechen nichts macht, dem drehte sich dann bei der Weiterfahrt der Bauch um, da der Bus nicht gereinigt wurde und man den Duft stets in der Nase hatte. Englischkenntnisse vom Guide waren ausreichend, aber der Trip eine Zumutung.”
“Les sites sont bien sûr très beaux et intéressants . Mais les visites sont très rapides et très peu commentées. Un quart d'heure de plus sur chaque site tels les grottes et monastère aurait été appréciable. Le premier arrêt au café n'est pas utile voir très nul. Boissons hors de prix et jus allongé à l'eau . Sur la plage pas tellement rose , trop de temps. J'aurais aimé plus de temps dans la dernière ville”
